Inspection of farms: MoALI DM inspected farms in Shan State (South)

The Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Aung Gyi inspected the water storage of Wan Pon Dam near Wan Pon Village which is 6 miles apart from Nansang township (Shan State South) in the morning on 16th June.

The Deputy Minister also inspected the Cherry Pig farm, Win layer chicken farm and gave necessary instruction.

Next, the Deputy Minister met with the soybean farmers and urged to expand the oil crops, producing soybean Value Added products, market prospect and technical assistance from the Department of agriculture and fulfilled requirements upon the reports of the soybean farmers. At the meeting, the Deputy Minister and officials also provided oil crop soybean seeds and seeders to the farmers.

After that, the Deputy Minister met with the personnel serving at the departments under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, inquired works under implementation and action plans as per the fiscal year and requirements of the personnel and coordinated necessary matters, it’s reported.
