


The Union Minister for Education, Dr. Nyunt Pe, accompanied by responsible officials, visited examination centers at No. 3 Basic Education High School in Pobbathiri Township and No. 12 Basic Education High School in Ottarathiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 17th March. The minister observed and encouraged students who were calmly taking the Myanmar language subject exam on the first day of the 2024-2025 academic year matriculation examination.
During the visit, the Union Minister instructed the exam room supervisors and relevant officials to ensure that students taking the 2024-2025 matriculation examination could do so in an orderly, disciplined, and peaceful manner by addressing any necessary requirements. The minister emphasized the need to take special care to avoid disruptions for the students and the examination process. Supervisors and assistant supervisors were directed to diligently fulfill their duties and responsibilities, adhering to examination rules and regulations, and to work collaboratively to ensure the successful completion of the matriculation examination.
Following this, the Union Minister proceeded to the examination center at No. 13 Basic Education High School in Pobbathiri Township, where he observed and supported students taking their exams peacefully, while also addressing any necessary requirements.
Similarly, Directors-General from various departments under the Ministry of Education, university rectors, principals of education degree colleges, Regions and States education officers, and other responsible officials visited respective examination centers across regions and states. They observed and encouraged students taking the matriculation examination in a calm and composed manner, it’s reported.
