






The Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, along with the officials, inspected ongoing projects in Loikaw Township including the progress at Shukhintha Park, the construction of staff housing and classrooms at basic education schools, the development of football fields, initiatives to enhance the Township’s cleanliness and beauty, and preparations to establish a bus terminal.
First, the Chief Minister and officials visited Shukhintha Park along the banks of Balu Creek in Loikaw, near the Loikaw-Lawpita Road. The park has been established for the public to relax and unwind in peace. They inspected the planting of ornamental flowers within the park and the development of a viewpoint, issuing instructions to officials to systematically maintain and care for the plants to prevent damage and ensure they remain evergreen and vibrant. Along the Loikaw-Lawpita Road, they also observed and encouraged the selling activities of shop stalls.
Next, they arrived at Namkot Sub High School, where they reviewed the completion of a single-story, four-unit staff housing building for teachers, the renovation of classrooms damaged by flooding, and the upgrading of a football field within the compound of High School No (7). The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that all work meets specified standards and is of high quality.
After that, at Min Su Ward in Loikaw, they inspected landscaped areas around Min Kyaung Lake, instructing officials to maintain the cleanliness and beauty of the lake and its surroundings, ensure a green and lush environment, and create a space where the public can rest and relax.
In Naung Yar (A) Ward along the Loikaw-Ho Pong Road, they reviewed preparations to open a temporary Highway bus terminal. The Chief Minister and officials inspected the ongoing work and coordinated to address any additional needs, it’s reported.
