




The Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development, U Thaik Soe, accompanied by officials, visited Yay-kyaw Village, Hmawbi Township, Yangon Region on January 3rd, met with members and executives of the Zinyaw Dairy Cattle Breeding Cooperative and the Thayakone Agriculture and General Economic Cooperative, as well as local villagers, to explain the government’s guidelines and the implementation of agricultural and breeding cooperative projects, rural development projects, job creation, and family income enhancement activities carried out by the ministry.
Subsequently, the Deputy Minister inspected 160 Friesian dairy cows bred by the Zinyaw Dairy Cattle Breeding Cooperative and the daily distribution of over 380 liters of milk. He provided necessary support and coordination to ensure the success of the operations.
From there, the Deputy Minister also examined the concrete paving work of the C3 road, measuring 3,613 feet, within the Nyaunghnapin Special Agricultural Zone, which is being carried out with the approved budget for the 2025-2026 fiscal year by the Rural Road Development Department.
He instructed responsible persons to complete the work on time, meeting the set standards and ensuring proper road conditions. Upon completion of the concrete road, it will benefit the 2,548 acres of farmland within the Nyaunghnapin Agricultural Zone, it’s reported.
