Inspection of construction works: MoC Union Minister inspected public rental housing project

Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant accompanied by YCDC Chairman Mayor U Bo Htay and departmental officials inspected the worksite of public rental housing construction project between the No (2) and No (7) Roads in Dagon Myothit (South) Township on 29th April, met with the departmental officials, responsible persons from Myanmar construction Entrepreneurs Association and Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association at the briefing hall and coordinated work requirements.

At the meeting, director general of department of urban and housing development clarified the information of the public rental housing project, completion of works and processes to be implemented, Yangon Region In-Charge of DUHD DyDG explained the implementation of urban, purified water and electricity as per the section with the budget allocation in accordance with the fiscal year.

Next, the responsible persons from the MCEA and MLCA clarified the completion of implementing project works as per the phases, ongoing work implementation, works to be done  and financial issues and the YCDC Chairman Mayor U Bo Htay supplemented necessary matters.

In responding to the clarifications, the Union Minister gave necessary instruction, inspected around the housing project and coordinated work requirements.

Afterward, the Union Minister and party inspected the worksite of extending road shoulder upgrading from four lanes to six lanes at mile post (14/2) of No (2) Road and Milepost (4/1) of Road No (3) implementing by Max Myanmar Company under BOT system, heard the clarifications of the departmental officials and responsible persons from the company, gave necessary instructions and inspected the work implementations.
