Inspection of construction work: NPT Chairman inspected rice bran oil plant construction

Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Than Tun Oo, inspected the construction site of rice bran oil and edible oil production plant (Nay Pyi Taw) of Myanmar Rice Bran Oil Co., Ltd on Wednesday. The facility is located within the Myanmar Agricultural Public Corporation Limited (MAPCO) rice mill compound in Mezali Kone Village, Pyinmana Township. 

During the visit, the Chairman first toured the construction site of the rice bran oil and edible oil production plant, where responsible officials provided detailed updates on the progress of the construction work. 

Following this, at the MAPCO office, officials elaborated on the ongoing construction efforts, operational plans post-completion, and the projected capacity for oil production. Chairman U Than Tun Oo emphasized the importance of completing the construction within the designated timeframe, ensuring adequate raw material supplies, achieving domestic edible oil sufficiency, and expanding exports to international markets. He also instructed the relevant authorities to coordinate and address any necessary requirements to meet these goals.
