Inspection of cleaning tasks: Union Minister inspected cleaning and rehabilitation works

The Union Minister for Cooperative and Rural Development U Hla Moe who is currently in Rakhine State to oversee the rehabilitation tasks viewed the collective cleaning works of rescue teams and departments at the precinct of Yan Pyay Man Myan Pagoda in Kispa ward and along the strand road of Sittwe together with Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, Deputy Ministers and officials and the preparing to cook the charity feast for the rescue teams and the people affected by the storm in the morning on 24th June.

Next, the Union Minister viewed the rendering healthcare by the specialists from Sittwe People’s Hospital to the residents in the Chaung Nwe Min Gan monastery of Chaung Nwe Min Gan Village, heard the clarifications of the responsible officials from the Ministry of Health, cordially greeted the residents, provided foodstuff, paid homage to the presiding Sayadaw of Chaung Nwe Min Gan monastery and offered cash donation.

Afterward, the Union Minister and party attended the coordination meeting with the groups regarding with the rehabilitation of vocational industries held at the State government office.

At the meeting, the Union Minister discussed to form the cooperative societies, cultivation of high yielding paddy, livestock breeding to carry out while engaging the agriculture, providing technical assistance and agricultural inputs etc.

Next, the State level responsible persons clarified the implementation of related sectors and the Chief Minister U Htein Lin and Deputy Minister Dr. Aung Gyi supplemented and the Union Minister gave necessary instructions and coordinated requirements.

In the afternoon, the Union Minister and party attended the work coordination meeting on the rehabilitation works held at the State government office and coordinated requirements on the reports of decisions made by the related committees regarding with the rehabilitation works completion, plans to be done and status of work progress.
