Inspection of basic education schools: MoE UM inspected basic education schools in Shan State

The Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe accompanied by the Shan State Minister for Social Affairs and officials visited the University of Taunggyi and encouraged the sitting for examination of second batch Arts Majors of Distance Educaion on 29th October.

Next, the Union Minister met with the Rector, Pro-rectors and Professors at the meeting hall of the University.At the meeting with the faculty members of the university, the Union Minister first expressed his appreciation of the Rector and personnel for their constant effort for the university and encouraged them to put continuous effort for being competent teachers.From there, the Union Minister inspected No. (4), No. (6) and No. (10) Basic Education High Schools and fulfilled the requirements.Consequently, the Union Minister visited Taunggyi Education Degree College, met with the basic education teachers who are attending the training and gave the necessary instructions.

In the afternoon, at the Padamya Hall of No. (1) Basic Education High School in Nyung Shwe Township, met with the Township level officials and personnel and principals of Basic Education High School, Middle Schools and Primary Schools and coordinated requirements upon the reports of the principals.

Additionally, the Union Minister inspected No. (2) and No. (3) Basic Education High Schools, No, (5) Basic Education Post Primary School, No, (7 ) Basic Education Primary School, No. (1) Basic Education High School and No. (3) Sub Basic Education Middle School and coordinated requirements.
