Inspection of agricultural activities: Rakhine State CM inspected agricultural activities

Supervised by the Rakhine State Government, the field demonstration of the supplemented pollination for Yezin hybrid strain-1 of sunflower and urea-borex mixed fertilizer was held at the model plot in West Sanpya Ward of Sittwe on January 28 and attended by the Chief Minister U Htein Lin, State Government members, departmental officials, staff from the Department of Agriculture and farmers.

First, the Chief Minister U Htein Lin presented vegetable seeds and agricultural education books to the farmers.

Next, the head officer of the State Agricultural Department clarified the status of winter crops plantation, the supplemented pollination for Yezin hybrid strain-1 of sunflower and urea-borex mixed fertilizer and the staff officer of Agricultural Mechanization Department explained the plan of developing 6 acres of model farm in Sanpya Ward.

The chief Minister inquired the matters that he wanted to know and gave necessary instructions.

Then, the Chief Minister and party viewed the supplemented pollination for Yezin hybrid strain-1 of sunflower and spreading urea-borex mixed fertilizer in 4 acres model farm of black gram, it’s reported.
