Inspecting Relocation of Staffs: SAC member UM inspected relocation of staff and families

Member of the State Administration Council Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen. Yar Pyae, accompanied by Deputy Minister Ma-J Gen. Phyo Thant, and relevant officials, on May 21, inspected the relocation of ministry staff and their families affected by the earthquake at the temporary "Basha" shelters constructed within the ministry compound under the supervision of the ministry’s engineering team.

The Union Minister and officials, first inaugurated a water purification system to ensure clean drinking water for the shelter residents, along with newly constructed temporary "Kyauk Sein Housing" Basha shelters by sprinkling scented water. 

During the visit, the Union Minister met with staff and their families residing in the temporary shelters and gave necessary instructions to address their concerns. He personally interacted with family members, inquired about their living conditions, and ensured immediate support where required.

The Union Minister and officials, then inspected various facilities, including living and dining arrangements, electrical installations, properly functioning bathrooms and toilets, designated garbage bins for waste management systems, ongoing construction of additional temporary shelters and provided further directives to improve amenities and ensure smooth operations.
