Inspectin of renovation works: MoNREC UM inspected renovation works of guesthouse

Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi conducted an inspection of ongoing renovation of the guest house at the Yezin Forest Research Institute in Zeyathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, on Monday.

The Union Minister then proceeded to the Nay Pyi Taw Zoological Garden and received reports on the operations of Zoological Garden, Safari Park and Planetarium. He emphasized the importance of the zoo and safari park in promoting public awareness of environmental ecology and supporting zoology and botany research.

The Union Minister stressed the need for regular health checks of animals, proper feeding, preservation of endangered species and ongoing maintenance of the park.The Union Minister then toured the zoo, planetarium and safari park exhibits and provided necessary instructions for repairs and improvements.
