INS Mahe, India’s indigenous anti-sub ship joins Navy

In a major milestone for India’s maritime security and indigenous defense production, the Indian Navy on Sunday commissioned INS Mahe, the first vessel of the newly developed Mahe-class Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft. The commissioning ceremony took place at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai, marking a milestone in India’s efforts to strengthen its maritime defences.
