In north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, a comprehensive effort to combat desertification and promote renewable energy has been initiated through multiple projects.

In Ashihan Sumu, Chifeng City, infrastructural development for a sand control and wind-photovoltaic project has been successfully completed. Concurrently, Hexigten Banner is pioneering an integrated sand control model focusing on "construction, management, and operation."

The long-term objective is to establish artificial grass cover on 247,667 hectares of sandy land by 2030, aiming to stabilize the environment and foster sustainable land use practices.
