Injured bobcat released back to wild after surgery

An injured bobcat has been released back into the wild after undergoing dental surgery to repair injuries from apparently being struck by a car.

The bobcat was brought to the San Diego Humane Society's wildlife center in Ramona, California, after it was found injured. Veterinarians extracted a broken tooth and treated the bobcat for other minor injuries. Once the bobcat healed, it was released back into the wild in San Diego's Mission Trails Regional Park, near where it was found.
