Infrastructure Upgrades in Sittwe : Rakhine State Chief Minister inspects work undertakings

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, along with ministers and departmental personnel, conducted an inspection of ongoing infrastructure upgrades in Sittwe on Thursday.

The inspection included various completed projects including playgrounds in U Uttama Park, landscaping efforts, pedestrian lane enhancements, beautification initiatives at Sayadaw U Uttama Square, and pond sanitation.

Additionally, they observed the arrival of garbage trucks and sanitation equipment for organized waste management within the city, along with arrangements for the opening of a temporary tax-free market. The Chief Minister and party also assessed the progress of major repair works at U Uttama Hall, which had been damaged by Cyclone Mocha.

Furthermore, they inspected the upgrading of water storage tanks that supply residential wards and the renovation progress along Shu KhinTha Road.
