The 4th ICT project competition and show, 2023 of the University of Computer Studies (Magway) was organized at the graduation hall with the attendance of Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and many other officials as well as invited guests.

The chief minister and other concerned officials cut the ceremonial ribbon at the university facade for the 4th ICT Project Competition and Show, 2023.At the event, the chief minister said that Information and Communications Technology [ICT]is developing and widely used across the world.

Agriculture sector, manufacturing sector, trading sector and transportation sector tasks can be completed quickly and easily by utilizing the ICT techniques.If the ICT technologies will be used more soundly in politics, economic and social sectors, it will strengthen the country’s development.

To obtain clean government, good governance, interaction between the people and government and effective public service activities, ICT technologies play the key role, he added.For the students part, they should strive to improve not only their familes but aslo their regions and country.

As the technologies advance, cyber security problems can be encountered. So, the students should avoid wisely.The chief minister urged the students and teachers to work together to emerge the projects that would benefit the region, the agriculture sector, MSME sector and development of e-Government through this event.

After that, the students gave performance and the chief minister gave honorary cash prizes to the students.And, the Chief Minister, officials and guests viewed around the projects made by  the University of Computer Studies (Magway) students.
