Industry Visit: Acting President visits Paper Mill (Thabaung)

Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited Paper Mill (Thabaung), operated by Myanmar Economic Corporation on Friday.

Officials provided update reports on the work undertakings at the mill and production condition. The Acting President instructed for successful manufacturing for import substitution, creating job opportunities for local community through forest and bamboo cultivation to support raw materials needed for the mill. Then, the Acting President viewed the operation process of the Pulp Mill, 50-ton Paper Mill and 60-ton Newsprint Paper Mill as well as the Fuel Pellet Plant.
