Industrial Sector: Union Minister makes inspections in Bago Township

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than accompanied by Bago Region Minister for Economic Affairs inspected MSME product exhibition and sale centers at Myoma market in Bago Township organized by the Bago Region MSME Agency on Saturday and urged concerned officials to sell the MSME products at reasonable prices and upgrade the packing systems to attract consumers.

At the Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection (Bago), the Union Minister heard reports on industrial operations within the region, trainings, market penetration and assistance for industrial zones and small-scale industries.

Then, Director General of the Union Minister’s Office clarified the instructions of the State Administration Council and the Union Government Office. Upon reports and clarifications, the Union Minister stressed the importance of inspection of industries not to harm the environment and to prevent loss and damages.

Regular inspections need to be made for systematic electricity usage and boilers operations. Every service personnel from the Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection was urged to perform their duties systematically in line with the rules and regulations. They’re also urged to continue learning to enhance capacity. Then, the Union Minister coordinated the reports submitted by the service personnel.
