Industrial Sector: MOI Union Minister inspects mills and factory in Mandalay

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than presided over the meeting with the Deputy Minister U Yin Maung Nyunt, Independent Professionals Association, Director General, Director, 2nd Permanent Secretary, general managers and mill in-charge at the No.1 Steel Mill (Myingyan) in Myingyan Township of Mandalay Region on 7th October.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister highlighted that feasibility study is carried out with the collaboration of the Independent Professional Association to examine the changes in project expenses while drafting projects. Tasks will be implemented based on the findings and recommendations of the Independent Professional Association.

Therefore, the relevant officials are urged to accelerate the timely implementation of the tasks. Then, the leader of the Independent Professionals Association clarified the findings of the association. On arrival at No.7 Textile Factory (Myittha) in Myittha Township, the Union Minister inspected the operation process and provided necessary instructions on market penetration of the products.
