Industrial Sector: Meeting with Russian delegation

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than received a delegation led by Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Alexei Shoshin of NPP A-Engineering LLC Company of Russia at the Ministry on Thursday morning.

At the meeting, they cordially discussed matters on expansion of oil-crops plantations, meeting targeted yields, increasing investments in oil-crops plantations, choosing pedigree seeds, systematic cultivating and harvesting, land managements, agricultural inputs and preventing pest infestation.

The meeting also focused on improving the edible oil production in line with the international standards, exerted efforts of the ministry in local oil sufficiency, reduction of import volume and development of edible oil sector and required technology assistance in refinery usage and purchasing of refineries.
