






The second work coordination meeting of the Industrial Development Commission was held at the Ministry of Industry on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Commission, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo, commission members, and departmental officials. During the meeting, discussions focused on successful cooperation for implementing the 16 work projects of the Industrial Development Commission announced by the State Administration Council.
It also addressed the matters that are needed to collaborate among the respective ministries, domestically popular goods, providing assistance for local industrialists, coordination plan for speedy access of inputs such as raw materials, energy, cash, human resources and technology.
The meeting also discussed for increasing domestic production, local sufficiency and export as well as producing high quality products and matters on cooperation for the long-term sustainability and development of the country’s industrial sector.
Attendees also made clarifications on the future plans and conditions of the factories which will carry out the agricultural based industrial works as well as the efforts for the development of the country’s industrial sector, conditions of the state-owned and private industrial works and projects to be implemented according to the respective ministries.
