Industrial Inspection: Union Minister inspects Textile Factory Branch (Yamethin

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than inspected the No. 8 Textile Factory Branch (Yamethin) in Yamethin Township of Mandalay Region on Sunday.

There, the Union Minister heard report on the factory data, operation process, plans and the need for spare parts for the continuous operation of manufacturing activities.

In his response, the Union Minister said that the government has been encouraging and supporting the development of MSME sector and the production of import substitute products.

At the same time, state-owned factories must process products of good quality at fair prices and with proper packaging. Concerned officials and staff must try to sell the remaining finished goods, to reduce the production cost, to buy quality raw materials, to make the products known to the public and to maintain equipment and materials.
