




On 2nd March, Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than arrived at No-2 Industrial Training School in Mandalay where the Director General of Directorate of Industrial Collaboration reported on the status of training courses, upgrading the school and arrangements to open the courses.
In his response, the Union Minister said that it is necessary to open the training courses in line with the policies set by the government and to arrange the subjects which are suitable for the industries running in the region. He added that systemic training is essential for the quality of finished-good since the skill of technicians plays a vital role in production.
He called the teachers to nurture the skillful human resources and to conduct life-long learning for individual capacity. The Union Minister also instructed to implement the skill-based education and training system, and to nurture the skilled workers for the development of the Industrial sector. The Union Minister then viewed around the preparation for lecture rooms to open the One-year Industrial Training Course and displays of teaching aids.
