Indonesia, one of the world countries with best economic performance

During the launch of Bank Indonesia’s 2023 report on transparency and accountability in Jakarta, the Bank Indonesia governor said Indonesia had become one of the countries in the world with the best economic performance.

As of third quarter last year, the country’s gross domestic product grew 4.94 percent year-on-year. Indonesia’s annual inflation stood at 2.61 percent last year, which was the fourth lowest in the world. The country’s currency remained appreciating cumulatively last year.  The governor said that Indonesia’s economic growth will be better in the future.
