Indonesia and Denmark Bilateral Cooperation Action Plan

Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono and Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen signed the Bilateral Cooperation Action Plan for 2025–2029 in Jakarta.

Minister Sugiono said the plan aims to strengthen the foundation of Indonesia-Denmark relations and to achieve tangible outcomes from the longstanding bilateral partnership between the two countries. Meanwhile, Danish Foreign Minister Lars said Denmark is committed to enhancing relations with Indonesia.

Lars had met with 50 companies directly involved in production in Indonesia, all of which are committed to cooperation for mutual benefit. He emphasized that Denmark fully supports the negotiation of trade agreements between Indonesia and EU countries. He also underlined that advancing these negotiations is a priority for Denmark during its presidency of the Council of the European Union.
