India's newly-appointed Chief of Army Staff General inspects the Guard of Honour

India's newly-appointed Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi inspected the Guard of Honour in New Delhi, a day after he was appointed as Chief of the Army Staff.

He also laid wreaths at the National War Memorial to honor the fallen heroes. The General was commissioned into the infantry of Jammu and Kashmir Rifles in 1984.
