Indian PM Narendra Modi arrives in Brunei

India Prime Minister Modi arrived in Brunei on Tuesday, on the first leg of his two-nation trip that will also include Singapore. He is the first Indian Prime Minister to travel to Brunei on a bilateral visit.

While embarking on the trip, Modi had expressed confidence in advancing India’s historical ties with Brunei and deepening its strategic partnership with Singapore. The visit will further strengthen India’s cooperation with Brunei in all existing sectors such as defence cooperation, trade and investment, energy, and space technology.
