Indian PM hails Italian Deputy PM as India-Italy deepen partnership

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, Antonio Tajani, in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Modi expressed appreciation for the proactive measures adopted by both sides for the implementation of the Joint Strategic Action Plan Italy-India 2025-2029. He emphasized that the friendship between India and Italy continues to strengthen, bringing great benefits not only to the peoples of both nations but also to the global community.

The leaders discussed cooperation in defense, maritime security, and space, while also addressing regional issues.
