Indian Foreign Secretary on 3-Day visit to Mauritius

India Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri called on Mauritius President Dharambeer Gokhool, affirming the strong ties between the nations. In discussions with Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam, both sides emphasised on deep cultural and historical bonds and explored ways to enhance multi-sectoral cooperation.

Misri also visited the iconic Aapravasi Ghat paying tribute to the resilience of overseas Indians. The visit included a meeting with Mauritius’ Foreign Affairs Minister to review bilateral partnerships and identify new opportunities for collaboration.
