India’s foreign minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar traveled to Pakistan on Tuesday, marking the first visit by New Delhi's top envoy to its neighbor in nearly a decade. He is in Islamabad for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.

Both sides have said no bilateral talks are planned, and his visit would strictly follow the SCO schedule." India remains actively engaged in the SCO format," India's Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday. The Islamabad summit is due to focus on trade, humanitarian and cultural issues.
