Indian deputy state leader killed in plane crash

In India, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and four other persons were killed after an aircraft which is operated by VSR Aviation, carrying them crashed in Pune district on Wednesday morning.

The aircraft met with an accident during landing in Baramati, 100 kms from Pune. Preliminary reports are unclear whether it was a crash landing or a technical failure. There was no technical failure in the aircraft," VSR Aviation told reporters. Administration and aviation department teams reached the site and launched relief and rescue operations.
