Indian Air Force Celebrates 93rd Anniversary with Air Show

The Indian Air Force marked its 93rd anniversary with a spectacular air show over the Brahmaputra River in Guwahati. Nearly 60 aircraft, including fighter jets, helicopters, and indigenous planes, took to the skies in precision formations.

The display, themed “Infallible, Impervious, and Precise,” highlighted the IAF’s skill, technology, and aerial capabilities. Crowds gathered at Lachit Ghat to witness the aerobatic performances, including a display by the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team.

The event celebrated both India’s defence strength and the region’s growing role in national events. Organizers showcased formations named after iconic Northeast symbols, adding a cultural touch to the aerial spectacle. The anniversary reinforced the IAF’s professionalism and its commitment to self-reliant defence.
