


India has inaugurated a 12,000 square meter pilot training facility in Gurugram on Tuesday, aiming to strengthen its aviation ecosystem and global hub ambitions.
The center, jointly established by Air India and Airbus, is expected to train over 5,000 pilots in the next decade, addressing the surging demand for skilled aviators amid India’s fast-growing aviation sector. The collaboration marks another milestone for Air India, Tata Group, and Airbus, positioning India as an emerging aviation hub on the global stage.
With approvals from both India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation and European Union Aviation Safety Agency, the training programmes will meet the highest international safety and quality standards.
