India invites 5 global university campuses

India has formally invited five leading global universities from the UK, USA, Australia, and Italy to establish campuses in the country. At a special event presided over by the India’s Education Minister, Letters of Intent were handed over to selected institutions expressing interest in setting up operations in India.

The initiative aims to internationalize India’s higher education system and offer world-class learning opportunities to Indian students domestically. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, along with the Deputy Chief Ministers, also attended the event, underscoring state-level support for the initiative.
