India hosts Regional 3R and Circular Economy Forum

The 12th Regional 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) and Circular Economy Forum kicked off in Jaipur, bringing together policymakers, businesses, and experts to promote sustainable urban development. As part of the event, the 3R India Pavilion was inaugurated, featuring an International 3R Trade and Technology Exhibition with participation from over 40 Indian and Japanese businesses.

A key Memorandum of Understanding for CITIIS 2.0 was also signed, marking a significant step in India’s urban sustainability initiatives. The forum will adopt the Jaipur Declaration for 2025-2034, a non-political, non-binding commitment to promote resource efficiency and sustainable urban development over the next decade.
