India holds International Conference on Democracy and Election Management

India inaugurated International Conference on Democracy & Election Management in New Delhi, Wednesday.It was attended by about 100 delegates from around 70 countries. Day one of the conference also included a screening of the docuseries “India Decides”, focusing on the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.

The Indian Chief Election Commissioner said that Indian elections are the largest democratic exercise in the world. The largest international conference is ever hosted by India in the field of democracy and election management, bringing together Heads of Election Management Bodies from across the world.
