India gifts electric buses to Mauritius

Strengthening Green Partnership, India officially handed over the first batch of 10 electric buses to Mauritius. High Commissioner of India Anurag Srivastava handed over e-buses describing the buses as moving symbols of friendship and commitment to a cleaner and greener planet.

Mauritian Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam highlighted its role in reducing emissions, cutting fuel imports & creating jobs in e-mobility. He also appreciated India’s role in high-profile infrastructure & future-ready sectors including Blue Economy, AI and Technology, Food and Maritime Security.
