India’s Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agrawal met with European Commission Director General for Trade Sabine Weyand in New Delhi on Wednesday, marking a significant step forward in the India–EU Free Trade Agreement negotiations.

The meeting focused on critical areas such as trade in goods and services, rules of origin, and technical and institutional matters. Both sides reviewed the progress made so far and reaffirmed their commitment to concluding a mutually beneficial agreement by the end of 2025.
