India celebrates 76th Republic Day at Kartavya Path

India celebrated its 76th Republic Day with grandeur, centered around the iconic parade at Kartavya Path on Sunday. President Droupadi Murmu led the nation in honoring the occasion, marking 75 years since the Constitution’s enactment and focusing on the theme of citizen participation.

This year’s celebrations highlighted India’s cultural diversity, unity, equality, progress, and military strength. The parade began with President Murmu taking the salute, followed by an inspiring performance by 300 cultural artists, playing musical instruments from various parts of the country.

Indonesia’s President Prabowo Subianto, the Chief Guest of this year’s celebrations, witnessed the parade alongside Indian dignitaries. A band from the Indonesian military academy also marched along Kartavya Path, offering a synchronized visual display for the audience.
