India’s Solar PV Potential Stands at Nearly 4000 GW

Indian Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Pralhad Joshi released Solar PV Potential Assessment of India in New Delhi on Tuesday. The Minister said a new study reveals that India’s total feasible ground mounted solar PV potential stands at close to 4000 Gigawatt. By 2047 India targets to install 1800 Gigawatt solar to easily achieve the target, he added.
