India’s Prime Minister Modi to visit Thailand & Sri Lanka

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on an official visit to Thailand and Sri Lanka from April 3 to April 6, reaffirming India's commitment to regional cooperation. 

He will participate in the 6th BIMSTEC Summit in Bangkok and engage in high-level discussions in Colombo. India’s Ministry of External Affairs announced in a statement on Friday. Modi’s third visit to Thailand will begin on April 3rd, at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra. 

The visit aims to review progress on areas of cooperation outlined in the Joint Vision for “Fostering Partnerships for a Shared Future.”
