President of India Droupadi Murmu, currently on a three-nation tour, visited the Sri Siva Subramaniya Swamy Temple at Nadi in Fiji on Wednesday. Accompanied by her daughter and the official delegation from India, the President offered prayers at the temple.

President Murmu departed from New Delhi on Sunday for a six-day visit to Fiji, New Zealand, and Timor-Leste, according to the Ministry of External Affairs. This three-nation visit by President Murmu underscores the importance India attaches to bilateral relations with these countries and reflects a strong focus on the Act East Policy which was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi ten years ago.
