India’s President reaches Fiji in first leg of her three-nation visit

India’s President Droupadi Murmu has reached Fiji on Monday. She is on three-nation-tour of Fiji, New Zealand and Timor-Leste.  She was welcomed by Fiji’s Deputy Prime Minister. During the tour in Fiji, President will meet her Fijian counterpart and the Prime Minister and will address Fiji’s Parliament.

She will also visit the Siva Subramaniya Swamy Temple, a symbol of the cultural ties between the two countries. On the second leg of her visit, President Murmu will be in New Zealand on 8 and 9 August meet the New Zealand’s Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister and will address the New Zealand International Education Conference in Wellington.
