India’s FM Jaishankar met with Japan and Australian Counterparts

India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar who is in Washington DC for the inauguration ceremony of U.S. President- elect Donald Trump, held meetings with his counterparts from Australia and Japan on Monday.

In a social media post, Minister Jaishankar expressed his happiness over his meeting with Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya.

The two leaders reviewed progress in bilateral cooperation and also discussed developments related to the Quad group. In another post, Dr. Jaishankar said he enjoyed his discussion on the state of the world with Australian counterpart Penny Wong.
