India’s External Affairs Minister holds high-level meetings in Israel

India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar is in Israel on a two-day official visit, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties. Concluding the first day of his visit, Jaishankar met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem.

He conveyed warm greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The discussions covered deepening cooperation in technology, economy, skills and talent, connectivity, and security.

Jaishankar later said he valued Prime Minister Netanyahu’s views on regional and global developments and expressed confidence in the continued growth of the India–Israel Strategic Partnership. The meeting focused on the Strategic Partnership and its continued deepening, with Jaishankar reaffirming India’s steadfast support for enduring peace in the region.
