India’s Defense Minister inaugurated Aero India 2025

India’s Defense Minister, Rajnath Singh inaugurated the 15th edition of the biennial Aero India on Monday at the Air Force Station in Bengaluru. The event serves as a platform to promote international collaborations aimed at accelerating India’s indigenization process in the aerospace and defense sector. 

The exhibition features more than 900 exhibitors, including 150 foreign companies. The scale and international participation underscore Aero India’s growing importance on the global defense stage. The event has attracted Air Chiefs and Secretaries from 43 countries, further highlighting its significance not only for India but for the entire international defense community.
