India’s Commerce Minister advances India-EU trade ties

India and the European Union are propelling their strategic partnership forward with renewed momentum.

During his visit to Brussels, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal held key discussions aimed at accelerating progress on the India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

Minister Goyal met with EU Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security Maroš Sefcovic to give fresh impetus to the ongoing FTA negotiations. Both leaders reiterated their shared commitment to achieving a swift, balanced, and mutually beneficial agreement that reflects the priorities of both sides.
