India’s celebrates 1st World Skydiving Day

World Skydiving Day is being celebrated for the first time this year globally.

The India's Minister of Culture and Tourism marked the event by taking part in the sport. He skydived from an altitude of 12,000 feet, by taking off from the airstrip located in Narangit in the northern state of Haryana. The Minister expressed his zeal and said that this sport could prove to be a milestone in the development of aero sports.
