Independence Day Reception: SSPC Chairman hosts a commemorative dinner

Hosted by Acting President, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, a dinner reception and entertainment program in honor of 78th Anniversary Independence Day was held at the lawn of the National Defence and Security Council’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw on 4th January. 

SSPC Commission member Prime Minister Zayya Kyaw Htin Thray Sithu Nyo Saw and wife, Union Ministers and their wives greeted the invited guests who attended the ceremony. On their arrival at the venue, the Acting President and wife cordially greeted the chairpersons and representatives of political parties, ambassadors and diplomats from foreign missions and specially invited guests.

Prior to the reception, the Acting President and wife enjoyed the displays of fireworks together with the attendees. They then enjoyed the dinner and performances by artistes from the Myanma Radio and Television under the Ministry of Information and Find Arts Department under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture. After the dinner, the Senior General and wife presented honorary flower baskets to the artistes and cordially greeted the attendees.
