Immigration Officers: MOIP calls new recruits for vacant posts

The Ministry of Immigration and Population is actively working in verification tasks for the accuracy of ground census information, implementation of Pan Khin project for every eligible citizen to have voting rights with citizenship scrutiny cards and Biographic/Biometric data collection of individuals for e-ID system including the nationwide population and household census in cooperation with the relevant local authorities and all departmental organizations.
In order to implement the tasks effectively, the Ministry made vacancy announcements for the position of Assistant Immigration Inspectors. On Saturday. The applicants for the vacancy posts sat for the exams at the respective venues across Regions and States.
Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing along with the Deputy Ministers and officials inspected the examinees taking the English tests for new staff position, conducted at No. (5) Basic Education High School, Zabuthiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw.
A total of 656 applicants sat for the English test on a national scale for the vacant position of Assistant Immigration Inspector and the passers will continue to take computer and viva tests very soon. Those who completed these 3 steps will be appointed according to the staff recruitment procedures.
